As law firms prepare for litigation they amass voluminous amounts of information which they then attempt to piece together to support their position. To strengthen their case, they may wish to gather not only documents in the possession of their client, but those of their adversary, both provided in discovery, and sometimes those available from other sources, as well as industry information and precedents previously established in other litigation, and application of the law.

We have assisted in those efforts through a combination of investigative activities. Investigations International has identified, located, and interviewed witnesses who may have information critical to the suit. We have learned facts about the opposing company and/or their executives which were then used advantageously by our client’s law firms

In a transaction which is the basis for litigation, what is claimed to have happened is not always accurate. Our investigations have unearthed what really happened, identified those who can testify to facts not previously known to counsel, and located documents which demonstrate the true facts.

Our investigations have run the gambit from locating the address of a witness for legal service, to providing expert testimony to support the contention of our client. In preparation for a SEC hearing, we have reconstructed brokerage records to refute allegations. We have located key witnesses in the United States and elsewhere in the world whose testimony brought about a quick and reasonable settlement of a multi-billion dollar case for a fraction of that amount. We have located and obtained documents which proved to be critical to the litigation. We have uncovered specific information regarding opposing witnesses which was successfully used to discredit their testimony.
